FAQ:

When can I have an assembly done?
Most assemblies can be done the next day. Larger jobs can take up to a week to schedule with advanced notice.

Can I request a time?
We will make every effort to be as flexible as possible in order to reduce scheduling conflicts. Customers should not have to change their plans; we will accommodate.

Who should I call to change the assembly time or to cancel?
The customer should contact AIM by phone, fax or email to make arrangements for a change of date and/or time or to cancel.

How do I place an order for delivery services?
Once the item is purchased, call AIM (509) 443-1717. Afterwards, if you can FAX (509) 487-1791) us the receipt in order for us to pick-up and deliver your merchandise when purchased locally. All retailers we have accounts with will automatically send us a FAX receipt. There is a flat-rate charge of $50.00 within the Spokane Metro area to pick up and deliver items with in limits. Multiple items may cost more. We will use one of our license & insured pick-up trucks for pick-up & delivery.

How long will the assembly take?
Assembly times vary depending on the number and size of pieces. We cannot commit to specific time requirements. Generally, items take from 1-4 hours per piece, depending on the size and complexity of each item. Unpacking furniture still takes time, but not as much.

Will the assembler move the furniture?
Most retail delivery personnel will take care placing items in accordance with customer's wishes. The customer is responsible for having the item(s) placed where the assembly is to take place. If customer requires existing furniture or other items in the room to be moved or rearranged to accommodate installation and/or placement of new assembled items, there is a minimum $27.00 charge for up to 30 minutes of moving and rearranging in addition to assembly charges. Assembler will position furniture in the room once built. It may be necessary for the customer to provide assistance when in positioning furniture.

Will assembler move cartons?
Assembler will break the cartons down and place them near the designated trash receptacle for pickup. We will haul away cartons of larger amounts from the premises for a minimum $25.00 fee.

What if an item is discovered to be broken or defective during assembly?
It is the customer's responsibility to inspect carton for obvious damage at the time of delivery and immediately notify delivery personnel to return suspicious item to place of purchase for replacement. AIM Assembly Services is NOT responsible for damaged or lost parts caused by other parties. Assembler will NOTopen carton that is obviously crushed or damaged. If an item had been discovered to be broken or defective during assembly, the assembler will call and order the parts to be sent directly to the customer. When the part arrives, the customer will call AIM to schedule an appointment for completion.
